Sofie is a sweet, tiny Tortie born on 7/11/2023. She was initially frightened and shy but became very affectionate and lovable once she became more comfortable in her foster home. Sofie’s foster describes her as a low-key lap cat who enjoys watching squirrels and birds through the window and sharing cardboard boxes and tunnels while playing with her foster siblings. While affectionate with her foster family, Sofie does have an independent streak and loves having her own bed! Sofie was rescued from an open field behind a major discount store where several other cats had been dumped. Sofie gets along well with other cats and kittens and with older children and adults. We feel she would do just fine in a home with respectful younger children. She has not been exposed to dogs.

All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.

All animals are already spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV tested negative, micro-chipped, de-wormed and have all necessary shots. They are ready to go to a loving home. Adoption fee is $175.00 each.
