Meet Nicholas, a young black cat (estimated DOB: 1/17/2024) with a heart full of love. Nicholas’s foster describes him as a sweet, independent, playful, and curious guy whose personality shines as bright as his amber eyes. Nicholas loves to explore and play with his toys, but he’s also perfectly content to enjoy some quiet time on his own. He’s a natural explorer, always curious about his surroundings. When it’s time to rest, he’s not opposed to a good cuddle session. He purrs loudly and will ask for attention. His playful antics will fill your home with laughter and his sweet nature will warm your heart. He enjoys drinking from the sink, looking out the window, and playing with an assortment of toys.

When we rescued Nicholas from Chicago Animal Care and Control, he was dealing with an upper respiratory infection and was severely underweight. He is now a healthy, thriving, happy cat who is ready for his forever home.

Nicholas is a laid-back cat who would do just fine in a house with dogs or other cats.

All animals are already spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV tested negative, micro-chipped, de-wormed and have all necessary shots. They are ready to go to a loving home. Adoption fee is $175.00.
