The Precious Pets Almost Home rescue group is proud to announce our 7th Annual PPAH Golf Classic. On Friday, July 25, 2025 we will dwell in the greens at Prairie Landing Golf Club located in West Chicago. The tournament will support our continued efforts and benefit all the rescue cats and dogs in our care from life-threatening situations such as imminent homelessness and kill shelters. We are looking forward to 2025 and are excited to see what the new year will bring.

Can’t Play But Want to Support PPAH? Here’s How To Make An Impact
We couldn’t survive a day without our dedicated supporters and volunteers! More now then ever we depend on the generosity of others to allow us to spend more time in rescuing and helping animals. Every dollar makes a difference! You can choose a donation level that fits within your budget. Your donation for general operational support will help provide food, medications, vaccinations and other supplies for our animals. Here are just a few examples:
- $50 Covers spay of one female cat (who can produce hundreds of kittens throughout her lifetime and bears the risk of reproductive cancers if she remains intact).
- $150 Covers vaccines, deworming, and flea treatment for a litter of kittens.
- $500 Covers a dental cleaning with extractions, improving the oral and overall systemic health of one cat and positioning her to be ready for her forever home.
- Other – Any amount helps PPAH to provide necessary services and achieve our mission of rescuing, fostering, and adoption homeless pets in and around Chicago.
We are 100% volunteer and foster based. Your donation is tax deductible and MAKES A DIFFERENCE! Thank you!
Lunch
We will have lunch provided for you at the turn and you can choose from Brats, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers or Deli (ham or turkey) Sandwiches. If you have dietary restrictions (i.e. Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten Free), we accommodate you with advance notice. There will be a beverage cart circulating through the course offering complimentary water, soft drinks and beer.
Cocktail Reception w/ Appetizers
After the game, we will meet at the clubhouse to enjoy an after event cocktail party with hardy appetizers and beverages for your enjoyment.
Awards Presentation and Helicopter Ball Drop
Winners for all contests as well as the overall game with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place champions! Then, we will watch with anticipation who will take home the $1,000 Cash Prize from the Helicopter Ball Drop!
Putting Contest, Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin
We will also have 4 contests you can participate in for your chance to win some great additional prizes. Men and Women will have separate contests and can choose one or all of them and you could win the Longest Drive Contest, the Closest-to-the-Pin Contest, the Putting Contest and even the $10,000 Hole-In-One!
What are the funds used for?
Funds from the 7th Annual 2025 PPAH Golf Classic will go directly to rescuing, vetting, and re-homing animals from open admission shelters in Cook County and around Illinois.
Mission: to prevent cruelty to animals; to promote respect and compassion for all animals through education; to rescue cats and dogs from life-threatening situations such as imminent homelessness and high-kill shelters, and to bridge the gap from homeless and forgotten to cherished family member by finding quality homes through our adoption programs.
We are a 100% volunteer based organization. We do not receive any federal, state or city funding. All of our support comes from concerned and involved individuals like you that share our compassion and love for homeless cats and dogs. Precious Pets Almost Home Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All donations are fully tax-deductible.
